We will depart from the Castle Poggio alla Mura. The Castle is situated in the hart of one of Italy's most famous wine: Brunello di Montalcino. After a visit of the castle we’ll start the route that goes through beautiful vineyards. The track goes on a secondary road, up and down in the rolling hills of Siena. On the road we are crossing the most famous vine marks in Italy. Ca after 10 Km we arrive the "hard" way up to Montalcino, but after few km we finely arrive the centre of this small town. The first monument we meet and maybe one of the most marvellous is the Fortezza (The Castle).A visit of the Castle and the wine vault with a taste of Brunello could be very interesting! After this visit we’ll descend to the old centre of the village for a short visit. Going towards Monte Amiata we’ll meet the Abbey of Sant' Antimo. Enjoy the beautiful architecture of the Abbey, its special nature and its symbols. During the morning and evening the monks of the abbey have there mess and are singing religious songs. After this visit we are ready for lunch in the admiring territory of this church. After lunch we’ll continue towards Monte Amiata Scalo and towards Seggiano. In Seggiano we will visit a "Frantoio" (Olive oil production) and try out the "taste of gold"!
