We will depart from Le Macinaie lodge in direction Loc.” Madonna di Camicione “, from here we'll travel along a stretch of the Amiata Ring crossing "Pozza di Catana" as far as we'll reach "Rifugio Arcù". After 1 Km of paved road at "Loc. Aia dei Venti" we'll enter in the Ring again. From now begin an amusing slope: crossing poggio Trauzzolo and Marroneto we'll reach Santa Fiora. In Santa Fiora it's possible to do a break to visit the beautiful medieval centre, Piazza Garibaldi, The Pieve Church and the Peschiera (a water park). Once we pass Santa Fiora we'll go towards the valley on a mule-track that skirts Fiora River for 1 Km and than gets into a dirt road that will take you to a crossing on the Scabbia creek from where the road climb constantly but gradually. We'll reach Loc. Corsica. The sight here is wonderful!

After 2 Km we'll reach Convento della SS. Trinità (The Selva Monastery) deep in a rare white fir wood. Here it's possible to rest and than going back to the hotel.
