We’ll depart from Le Macinaie Lodge in direction Castel del Piano where we’ll visit some of the ancient wine-cellars and the medieval town centre.After the visit we’ll take the way to Arcidosso: Here we’ll visit the castle of Aldobrandeschi, the old town centre and the close Pieve ad Lamulas.

Leaving Arcidosso we have a quite hard climb up to the Aiuole to reach Santa Fiora, one of the most beautiful villages of the mountain. Here we’ll visit the Peschiera and the medieval town centre.

Getting back up to the mountain there is a demanding climb that leaves us a little out of breath.

Reaching the magic green world of Le Macinaie is, however, a great satisfaction. Such stunning paths!
