Montegiovi

(Montegiovi and the Val D'Orcia)

Montegiovi, another picturesque village, ancient large estate of the Salimbeni family, rises out of a knoll among the hills sloping down the Orcia. The most interesting monument, at the village gate, is St. Martin Church keeping several valuable XVII century altar-pieces.
