(The sight of the Church)

At the foot of the village there is the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Carità, well visible from the road which leads towards the mountain and Castel del Piano. Built between 1589 and 1603, during a great famine (according to others a plague epidemic), it is immersed amongst olive groves. The Baroque facade is in trachyte, it has a fresco of the Annunciation on the portal and brick dome is divided into four halves: it is a unique monument. Inside it has six altars, where paintings were exposed, now stolen
